All you can eat breakfast buffet $7.99 per person (men 25 years and younger eat FREE – compliments of GFC men’s group)!  The men's breakfast meets the first Saturday of each month.  Come join us!

The Flight Deck Café is located at the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport, 6001 S. Sossaman, Mesa.

NEW YOUNG ADULT CLASS

Our new young adult (age 18+) Sunday School class begins tomorrow (Sunday, September 27) at 9:00 AM in the fellowship hall classrooms.  For more information please contact Bill Birdwell  or Stu Burgos.





ALABASTER OFFERING

September is Alabaster month!  Our spare change is collected and all of the offering raised goes for land purchases for Work & Witness projects, church buildings, and the construction of schools, medical facilities, and homes for missionaries and national workers.  80% is used in world mission areas, and 20% for multicultural congregations in the US and Canada. 

We will be taking our Alabaster offering tomorrow (Sunday, September 27.)  Alabaster collection boxes are available in the church foyer.




WOMEN’S PRAYER CALENDAR

Our monthly women’s prayer calendars exist as a reminder that there is power in prayer!  Use the calendar as a reminder to pray for the women of GFC.  The new calendar for October is now available on the information table in the church foyer.  It may also be downloaded from the link below:

FAITH PROMISE

Our current Faith Promise campaign will conclude the end of this month (September).  Please complete your current commitment (if you have not already done so) as soon as possible. Thank you for your faithfulness! 

Our next faith promise campaign begins in October – we will distribute new faith promise commitment cards soon – please be in prayer about your giving to global outreach (world missions), community outreach & denominational outreach through our next Faith Promise campaign.




VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

We are currently in need of mini bread loaves for our visitor bags.  Please leave your donations in the church freezer located in the kitchen, off of the fellowship hall.  For questions, please contact Linda Persoon.

PRAYER BAND

In need of prayer?  There are several ways to submit your requests, which will be lifted up in prayer by the members of our new Prayer Band:

  • Email your request to prayer@GFamilyChurch.org, or

  • Call the church 480-813-9300 x2, or

  • Place a Communication Card or blue Prayer Card in the offering or foyer drop box. 

If you have a heart for prayer and would like to be part of the GFC Prayer Band, please contact Karen Schaefer-Faust, or fill out a communication card for more information.
